Game 6: Expos U18s v U18s

The Expos found their rhythm in their sixth and final game in Perth. They were able to hold their opponents scoreless for seven innings, while they pulled in seven runs. A nice win for them in their final game. Stuart Alexander pitched four innings, striking out seven, walking one and hitting one batter. He allowed one hit. Logan Hannah closed the game, striking out four, hitting one batter, and allowing only one hit. Sebastian Miles led off with a double to left field and scored on a double by Ryan Blondin, who later scored on a sacrifice fly by Patrick Kennedy. In the third, Jack Bonnikson singled, stole second, and reached home on a wild pitch. Ryan Blondin walked, advanced on a fielder's choice, and also scored on a wild pitch. Ryan Hanlon reached first with a fielder's choice, and was brought home with a sacrifice fly by Patrick Kennedy. In the sixth, Casey Wightman singled and came home on Chris Bohannon's long home run to center field. The team committed three errors, but not runs resulted. The game was a nice close to the series in Perth.

Expos Travel from Perth to Sydney

The Expos will spend Christmas and Boxing Day with their host families. The team will fly from Perth to Sydney on December 27th, arriving in Sydney in the early evening. Reports will resume from Sydney.
