Game Day Number Two:
The Mariners and the South Australia Under 14 Rural Team faced each other today, with the Mariners pulling of a huge 23 - 0 win. Pitchers were Lucas Sanford and David Wyman. Lucas Sanford was named Man of the Match. Blue Jays Vs. South Australia Under 18 Metro (City of Adelaide) Team The Blue Jays played the South Australia Under 18 Metro Team today, taking a 9 - 2 loss. Philip Hann, NickVaughn and Jeff Shumate were the pitchers, with Jeff Hann named Man of the match. Brewers Vs. South Australia Under 18 Rural Team, Vs. Claxton Shield The Brewers played a double-header today, recording both a win and a loss. Their first game was against the South Australia under 18 Rural Team. They used pitchers Sebastian Miles and Jim Pollack as they fought out a 4 - 1 win. Sebastian Miles went away as MVP of the game. Their second game was against the Claxton Shield South Australia Open-Age Team. The Brewers broke three bats hitting against the Claxton Shield pitcher, clocked on the field at 92 mph. Austin Witt and Matt Murphy battled it out on the pitchers mound before giving a 3 - 0 win to the South Australia team. There was no Man of the Match named. |
