Brewers 18 and Under vs Perth Under 23 Team

The Brewer 18 and Under Team defeated an older Perth Under 23 Australian Team by a score of 11 to 8. Multiple game hits were achieved by Thomari Story-Harden (California) and Tyler Hoechlin (California). Additionally, Story-Harden and Tyler Dewitt (California) provided the game's winning margin with two home runs and an impressive defensive display. The Brewers' offense spread the strong hitting throughout the game with eight players getting base hits. Relief pitching was provided by Brett Bollman (Oklahoma) and Daniel Wiltz (Florida) in the final 2 and 2/3's innings.
Coach Charlie Aliano and pitching coach Tom Clark were impressed with the strong play against this seasoned Perth Under 23 team, praising the outstanding home run hits and the rally and skill to come back for the win.

Brewers 16 and Under vs USA Expos 16 and Under
7 - 3, Brewers
The Brewers 16 and Under team remained undefeated in Perth beating the USA Expos 16 and Under team with a score of 7 to 3. Matt McGee (Tennessee) and Chase Pennington (California) held the Expos to just four hits over six innings. John Diebolt (Michigan) had two hits and one RBI while Jowel Rodriguez (Texas) singled for two RBI's, walked twice and scored once.
Coach Stewart Smothers praised the team for both strong offensive and defensive play, stating that their no-loss record for the 2004 Australian tour was something the players could be proud of.

Brewers Rookies, 14 and Under vs Perth All-Stars Majors
17 - 1, Brewers
The Brewers dominated a local (non-state) team from Perth, Western Australia scoring 17 runs and allowing just one. The Rookies distinguished themselves with outstanding defensive play. Clark Eckert (California) lead this strong defensive display with seven remarkable put outs as catcher and third baseman. Multiple game hits were realized by Gregory Zebrack (California), Nicholas Waters (Ohio), Adam Adkins (Tennessee), John Greer (Tennessee) , Drew Brown (Tennessee) and Mitchell Thompson. A strong pitching performance was given by Gregory Zebrack before the mercy rule was activated. Zebrack struck out 12 WA hitters, walking five.
Coaches Story-Harden and Dunning couldn't praise the Brewers Rookies enough for their strong play and positive team spirit.
